Musicosophy is a contraction for ‘Musical Philosophy’. The
Original Musicosophy Band was born from our collective philosophies concerning
the harmonic tonal centers of our music and the consonant way that they related
to one another. We were employing a system of music from the Olden Days and
were impressed with the strength of its character, so we continued developing
our Original Music, patterned after it.
Our style is vey generous; both rhythmic and
melodically pleasing. It sounds to the ear like jump-blues (with a West-Coast
feel) and perhaps Jazz-bluesante; bouncy folk music, and soft r&b; but a
little bit atmospheric and just a hint of mystery. To the foot it sounds like
movement.
